Stud earrings

Stud earrings are considered to be the most classic design and usually consist of a single gemstone or diamond set on a precious metal backing. The screws provide a secure and easy-to-wear fastening system.

This earring pattern originated several thousand years ago when, in ancient society, they were mainly worn by men to express their upper class origins, among other things. Throughout history, this little fashion accessory has evolved, leaving its mark in every culture.

Whether with diamonds or not, stud earrings are completely understated, universal, full of grace and elegance. Diamonds came into fashion in the 16th century and have remained a piece of jewelry loved by women of all ages ever since. Despite their simplicity, diamond stud earrings are regularly worn on the red carpet at awards ceremonies by stars such as Angelina Jolie, Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansson and Eva Longoria, and even famous male stars such as Usher, Will Smith and Justin Bieber. Although they are discreet, these earrings do not go unnoticed.

Solitaire ring

Iconic in its sophistication, a solitaire engagement ring is defined as any ring that features a single diamond. Its origins can be traced back to ancient Roman times, when a ring symbolized life and eternity and was used as a public engagement of marriage. Then, with the discovery of diamond mines in Africa in the Victorian era, the pattern became popular among high-ranking married couples. In 1948, De Beers (one of the largest diamond mining and extraction companies in the world) decided to increase diamond sales among the American middle class. It first introduced the famous phrase "A diamond is forever", confirming the position of the solitaire engagement ring as the ultimate symbol of lasting love.

A reference model of the solitaire ring belongs to the Tiffany jewelry house. More than 130 years ago, founder Charles Lewis Tiffany devised a meticulous design of his own—six prongs that raised a round-shaped diamond above a thin band of gold, a departure from other classic engagement ring designs up until that time, which has had the stone fixed very close to the band.

The Pearl Necklace

Hundreds of years ago, pearls were considered a rarity and a priceless treasure. A pearl necklace and earrings were the most expensive jewelry in the world, worn only by the richest people. This happened until 1893 when the Japanese Kokichi Mikimoto created the first cultured pearl and thus they could be accessible to the general public.

Coco Chanel was the first designer to introduce cultured pearls into her collections, sparking a trend that is still popular today. The pearl necklace is a symbol and was worn by actresses such as Audrey Hepburn in the movie "Breakfast at Tiffany's" or Frances Sternhagen in the series "Sex and the City", but also by the most influential women in the world, such as Jacqueline Kennedy , Barbara Bush, Princess Diana and Michelle Obama.

Tennis bracelet

The tennis bracelet is one of women's most beloved pieces of jewelry, thanks to its precious versatility that makes you want to wear it all day, in every season and context.

It is a symmetrical arrangement of diamonds set on a white gold setting that reflects every sparkle.

The name comes from American tennis player Chris Evert, who lost her diamond bracelet (made by jeweler George Bedewi) during a match and stopped playing until she found it.

Tennis bracelets are also called "diamond bracelets" or "eternity bracelets" because of their perfect circular shape.

Nowadays there are many variations of this type of jewelry. Most diamond tennis bracelets are made of white gold or platinum, but you can also opt for timeless yellow gold or rose gold. Different settings, thicknesses, precious metals and gemstone colors mean tennis bracelets to suit every style.
