Reference moments in the history of chains

5000 years ago, chains were made from natural materials such as shells, stones, bones, or shells and were worn decoratively around the neck, often as a talisman.

 In the following two decades, massive chains became a reference cultural element for urban style.

The religious status of chains

In addition to the symbolism offered by fashion, chains have always had a religious status. For example, in the Egyptian era, people worshipped multiple deities and shaped their jewelry to present their devotions - the snake, scarab, falcon, lotus, and Ankh were the main symbols.

Christianity also plays a major role, the most sought-after religious chain being the one with the cross of Jesus.

As accessories, chains are used to make necklaces, but also bracelets for the hand and foot, which can in turn be decorated with pendants or beads. The chain can be attached to the pocket watch from the vest or jacket for a classic style or from jeans for a modern approach.
